Who Can get an AVGS?
The Activation and Placement Voucher (AVGS) is your chance to use professional coaching completely free of charge.
It is awarded by the Employment Agency or the Jobcenter and supports you in finding a job or training more quickly.
An AVGS can be obtained by people who:

are registered as unemployed, or
-
are threatened by unemployment (e.g. in the event of termination or a fixed-term contract).
The AVGS is a so-called discretionary benefit. This means that your case worker at the Jobcenter or Employment Agency decides whether you will receive a voucher. In most cases, your contact person will be happy if you actively inquire and have an idea of how you would like to improve your job search.
Even better if you can already inform us of the coaching partner of your choice (Krone Akademie).

Another Tip and Important Note!
If you take part in an AVGS measure, your employment agency or the job center can also cover your travel expenses to us, and may even reimburse additional childcare costs. However, you must apply for this before the start of the measure.
AVGS – the Activation and Placement Voucher Explained
What Does AVGS Mean?
AVGS stands for Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein (Activation and Placement Voucher), which is a financial support for job seekers to re-enter the job market.
The Employment Agency or the Jobcenter issues the so-called AVGS for participation in “measures for activation and professional integration”.
With this support, the chances of finding a suitable job on the job market increase considerably.
During the coaching, we will work together to find out which profession suits you. We will find your strengths and also show you how you can become self-employed.
We will get you fit, strengthen your self-confidence and develop strategies for you for a professionally successful future.
With an AVGS, these services are free for you.
Funded is:
Your employment agency or job center can use an AVGS to cover 100% of the costs for various measures with us as an approved provider. These include the following measures:
- work on probation at a company
- a private employment agency
- a coaching
- a qualification
The legal basis for these measures is § 45 SGB III. Each measure must fulfil a clearly defined goal, for example:
- Introduction to the training and job market,
- Identification, reduction or elimination of placement obstacles,
- Placement in employment subject to social insurance contributions,
- Introduction to self-employment
- Stabilisation of employment.
